Personal Information Protection Policy

We at Premier Anti-Aging, Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") have established strict voluntary standards to ensure thorough quality control of our products and services so that our customers can use products that are truly beneficial for their skin and bodies with peace of mind. We also recognize the importance of personal information of customers (name, address, telephone number, etc.) entrusted to us and believe that strict protection and management of such information is the basis of our corporate activities and a social responsibility.
In order to live up to trust of customers and to ensure that customers can use our services with peace of mind, we have established the following "Personal Information Protection Policy" and declare that we will implement and maintain this policy.
 

  1. We will comply with the laws and regulations, guidelines set by the government and other norms regarding the handling of personal information concerning customers, employees, and other items necessary for our business operations.

When obtaining personal information, we will specify the purpose for which the information is to be used, and will not use the information beyond the extent necessary to achieve the specified purpose (use for purposes other than those intended). We will also take appropriate management measures to prevent use for purposes other than those intended.
     
  3. When we receive a complaint or consultation regarding the handling of personal information, we will investigate the facts and respond promptly.
     
  4. In order to properly manage the personal information entrusted to us, we will implement technical and organizational security measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and take corrective actions.
     
  5. We will establish a personal information protection management system and continuously review and improve it in a timely and appropriate manner.

Handling of personal information

Purpose of use of personal information

  1. Customer information

Publication of matters concerning retained personal data

When handling requests from the individual or their representative for notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, elimination, or suspension of provision to a third party of retained personal data held by the Company or records provided to a third party (hereinafter referred to as "Request for Disclosure, etc."), the Company will respond to such requests in accordance with the following procedures.

      *If you wish to request disclosure, etc., through electromagnetic procedures, (PC, etc.) then please let us know. In general we try to process your request according to your wishes.
    2. Procedures for requesting disclosure, etc.
      1. After receiving your request, we will mail you the specified request form, "Request Form for Disclosure, etc., of Retained Personal Data."
      2. Please send the completed request form, a document confirming the proxy's identity if requested by the proxy, and a postal money order for the fee (only for requests for notification or disclosure of the purpose of use) to the Personal Information Hotline above.
      3. After receiving the above request form, we will inquire about two items of personal information registered with us (e.g., telephone number and date of birth) in order to confirm the identity of the person making the request.
      4. Usually, a response will be sent in writing (by mail) to the person in question.
    3. Document confirming the proxy's identity if requested by the proxy
      ​​​​​​​If the person requesting disclosure, etc., is the proxy, then please enclose documents proving that the applicant is a proxy and documents certifying the proxy's identity. The registered domicile information included in each document should be limited to the prefecture and any information subsequent to that should be blacked out. Please send documents that do not contain your personal number, or else black out all the digits.

  7. Details of the system for handling personal information and measures taken
    1. Formulation of basic policy
      ​​​​​​​To ensure the proper handling of personal data, we have formulated a "Personal Information Protection Policy" regarding "compliance with relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, etc." and "contact points for inquiries and complaint handling."
    2. Development of rules on the handling of personal data
      ​​​​​​​We have established personal information protection rules for each stage, including the acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, and disposal of retained personal data; and which are rules that summarize the handling methods, the overall responsible persons, and persons in charge, and their duties.
    3. Organizational safety management measures
      1. In addition to appointing a person responsible for the handling of personal data, we specify which employees will handle personal data and the scope of personal data handled by such employees; and have established a system for reporting to the person responsible in the event that a fact or indication of a violation of the law or handling rules is detected.
      2. Each organization conducts periodic self-inspections of the status of the handling of personal data, and other departments and outside parties conduct audits.
    4. Human security management measures
      1. We regularly provide employees with training on points to keep in mind regarding the handling of personal data.
      2. All employees are required to submit a written pledge regarding protecting the confidentiality of personal data.
    5. Physical security management measures
      1. In areas where personal data is handled, we control the entry and exit of employees and restrict devices as well as other items that are brought in, and take measures to prevent unauthorized persons from viewing personal data.
      2. In addition to taking measures to prevent theft or loss of equipment, electronic media, and documents that contain personal data, measures are also taken to prevent personal data from being easily identified when transporting such equipment, electronic media, etc., including transportation within business sites.
    6. Technical safety management measures
      1. Access control is implemented to limit the scope of persons in charge and the personal information database, etc., being handled.
      2. We have introduced a mechanism to protect information systems that handle personal data from unauthorized access from outside sources or from unauthorized software.

Acquisition and use of attribute information and action history

  1. The Company's website may use cookies for marketing purposes. A cookie is a text file which is stored on the customer's computer hard disk by a web server. A cookie is a piece of information recorded on your or the customer's computer but can usually be disabled by way of your browser settings. If you reject all cookies then you might not be able to use some of our services. Cookies and action history do not contain any personal information. Cookie data may be entrusted to third parties such as Yahoo! JAPAN, Google, and Criteo to store and reference our cookies.
  2. We use advertising services provided by third parties such as Yahoo! JAPAN, Google, and Criteo. In connection with this, such third parties may use cookies to acquire and use information on your visit and action history on our website, etc. Cookies acquired by the third party will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy of the third party. You may disable the third party cookies to block advertising by accessing the opt-out page on the third party's website.

Disclosure concerning anonymously processed information

  1. Creation of anonymously processed information
    We will continuously process personal information of customers held by us so that specific individuals cannot be identified and original personal information cannot be restored (hereinafter referred to as "Anonymously Processed Information"). We will not provide such information to any third party.
  2. Information items concerning individuals that are contained in Anonymously Processed Information
    We create Anonymously Processed Information by taking appropriate measures such as hashing, partial deletion, and replacement of retained personal data so that specific individuals cannot be identified and original personal information cannot be restored.
