Balm-type Skin Care

Causes of inflammation, which causes redness and itching of the skin, include acne caused by dryness and bacterial invasion, and a weakening of the skin's barrier function due to external stimuli such as ultraviolet rays.
As we age, it is important to prevent inflammation from building up and becoming chronic in order to improve skin condition and provide anti-aging care.
It is also considered important to prevent dry skin, and cleansing products have contained beauty ingredients to help retain moisture.
However, the problem was that some of the beauty ingredients were washed away during cleansing, making it difficult to achieve a high level of moisturizing effect.
We are pursuing the technology of “balm-type skin care” through industry-academia collaboration and joint research with oil chemistry specialists.
This is where formulation engineering and our research philosophy lie, going beyond the texture design, shape and ingredient combination of cosmetics.

Stem Cell Culture Extract

“Stem cells” is a research field that has attracted a great deal of attention in research studies and academic presentations.
In recent years, the usefulness of “stem cell culture supernatant” has been discovered, and its promising effects have become apparent.
Given this background, it is expected to be used in a variety of fields, including anti-aging.
However, there are many challenges to overcome before it can be put into practical use, such as highly transparent traceability, multiple safety demonstrations, scientific verification of the active ingredients in the culture medium, and demonstration of effectiveness in humans.
To solve these issues, we conducted joint research with the University of Tokyo, and as a result, we successfully developed and commercialized “ENGY Stem S,” a dental pulp stem cell culture supernatant specialized for skin care.

As we enter a super-aging society where people can expect to live to 100 years old, “extending healthy life expectancy” is no longer just an issue for individuals but has become an important theme for society as a whole.
In recent years, NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) has been attracting attention as a key ingredient.
While NMN is attracting great expectations in the fields of anti-aging and aging-related diseases, it is a relatively new material, and its value and effectiveness are often discussed solely in terms of the material itself.
We have recognized the potential of NMN from an early stage and have been engaged in research and development, from material selection to formulation technology and quality design.

Lifestyles change with the times, and sleeping alone is no longer enough to keep up with recovery.
Venex Co., Ltd., a group company, was one of the first to focus on the “recovery” necessary for rapid performance improvement, and created the one and only technology “PHT (Platinum Harmonized Technology).”
Venex conducts research and development of recovery products, including clothing made with the special fiber PHT fiber.
It commercialized recovery wear in 2010 through industry-academia-government collaboration with Tokai University and Kanagawa Prefecture.
