Kiyoshi Matsuura

After graduating from college, Kiyoshi Matsuura joined American Family Life Insurance Co.,Ltd. (currently Aflac Life Insurance Co.,Ltd.), then he received an MBA from Columbia Business School in 2001.

After working for a strategic consulting firm, Matsuura successively served as the president of the Japanese subsidiary of an Italian luxury brand, a US online jewelry brand, and a listed investment company, before joining QVC Japan Inc. in 2008. He established Premier Anti-Aging Co., Ltd. in December 2009, leveraging his experience in the TV shopping industry. He assumed the position of President and Representative Director and started the cosmetics development and sales business.

“DUO the Cleansing Balm”, which was released in 2010, achieved the No. 1 sales~{※} in the cleansing category in 2019 as a result of the strategy of expanding from digital to mass marketing.

In October 2020, the Company was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market and has continued to grow to a company with sales of 33.9 billion yen (fiscal year ended July 2022).

Yoichiro Ito

After involved in legal practices as a Japanese lawyer at a Japanese domestic law firm, Yo Ito joined Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd. Tokyo Branch (currently Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd.). He engaged in domestic and overseas M&As, financial advisory for capital market transactions, etc. in the Investment Banking Division of the company, and in 2010 he was promoted to Managing Director. For many years, he has been involved in the development and execution of financial, business and M&A strategies and capital policies for clients at the company.

He joined the Company in September 2022 as Managing Executive Officer and Head of Corporate Division.

He was appointed as Director, Managing Executive Officer, CFO and Head of Corporate Division of the Company in October 2022. He is promoting the enhancement of the Company's corporate function by utilizing his global and highly professional experience.

Currently serving as Executive Advisor at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.

Takuyuki Fukumoto

Served as director and senior managing director at High Chlorella Co., Ltd. (currently Epauler Co., Ltd.).

Appointed as a director of Euglena Co., Ltd. as one of the co-founders from 2005. Takuyuki Fukumoto was mainly engaged as a business manager in the healthcare business and has experience in listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market and the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. After serving as Director and General Manager of the Marketing Department and Director and Head of the Healthcare Business Division, he currently serves as Executive Officer of Euglena Co.,Ltd. and CEO of the Euglena Healthcare Company at the company.

He is also a representative director at LIGUNA Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Yu Green Na Biotechnology Co., Ltd. of the Euglena Group, and a director at Epauler Co., Ltd., and has knowledge and extensive experience in business operations in the health and beauty industry.

He has been an Independent Outside Director of the Company since September 2019. He has served as a director of a listed company whose business domain is close to that of the Company and provides useful advice on management, including professional business operations, thereby contributing to ensuring the transparency of the Company's management.

Sakiko Sakai

Sakiko Sakai started her career in the accounting department of Sumitomo Marine & Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. (currently Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd), and worked in accounting and financial operations at two foreign non-life insurance companies and a foreign publishing company. She obtained certificate of CPA (U.S.A.)and served as General Manager of Internal Audit Department at DirecTV Japan Management, Inc. and Hughes Electronics Japan Co., Ltd., Senior Consultant at Andersen Japan (currently KPMG AZSA LLC), and Head of Internal Audit at PCA Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (currently SBI Life Insurance Co., Ltd.)
She has served on various committees and global board at The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) since 2004.
She has been an Independent Outside Director of the Company since August 2020. She contributes to the realization of strengthening and improving the Company's management capabilities by providing advice. based on her extensive experience and knowledge in internal auditing, finance and accounting.
In October 2022, she was appointed as a temporary member of the Business Accounting Council of the Financial Services Agency.

Akira Ide

After working for KPMG AZSA & Co. (currently KPMG AZSA LLC), Frontier Management Inc. and Uluru Co., Ltd., Akira Ide opened Ide Certified Public Accountant Office in 2018.

He has been an Independent Audit and Supervisory Board member of the Company since October 2018.

In 2019, he founded AI Corporate Advisory Co., Ltd. and serves as its president.

He also serves as a director (Audit and Supervisory Committee member) of WACUL, Inc. and an Audit and Supervisory Board member of wevnal inc.

He is a certified public accountant and has practical experience at auditing firms and business companies. By utilizing his expertise and experience, he contributes to the sound and sustainable growth of the Company by providing advice on accounting and internal control matters and conducting effective audits from an independent standpoint as an outside officer.

Kiyoshi Iwakawa

After working as a corporate/business revitalization, derivative product development, and fund manager at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd. (currently MUFG Bank, Ltd.) and other financial institutions, Kiyoshi Iwakawa worked at a foreign-affiliated consulting firm, leading the formulation of management and business strategies, the implementation of organizational and operational reforms, the development of new businesses, and the execution of M&A, etc. In addition, he launched a foreign Internet company and took charge of its management, realizing its listing in New York. Later, he led management and business strategy and new business creation for cutting-edge technology at GREE and SoftBank Group.

Since becoming independent, he has assisted both major listed companies and venture companies in formulating and implementing various strategies and plans, launching new businesses, IPOs, etc.

Specially Appointed Professor(Visiting), Center for Co-Creation Strategy, Tohoku University.

He joined the Company in April 2022 as Executive Officer and Head of New Business Development and Promotion Division.

He has also served as a Director of Venex Co., Ltd. since February 2023.
