Contributing to society as an anti-aging company

Based on our management philosophy of “Forever vivid. Untether time.” we are promoting sustainability activities with our desire to contribute to society as an anti-aging company. In September 2023, we set targets for each of the five material issues, and have been working on each of these targets across the entire company.

 

We would like to introduce our major achievements to date. In July 2024, we established a procurement policy to enable us to provide safe, secure, and unique products together with our suppliers. Furthermore, in July 2025, we revised our reduction targets for “CO2 emissions (Scope 1 & Scope 2),” which had been under review since the previous fiscal year, based on the GHG Protocol, the international standard for calculating and reporting GHG emissions. We even reviewed our calculation standards and scope retroactively to the fiscal year ended July 2023, reflecting structural changes such as office relocations and increases/decreases in store numbers, incorporating previously excluded group companies . As a result, we have set a reduction target of “reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by the fiscal year ending July 2035” for the entire consolidated group, using the most recent results for the fiscal year ended July 2025 as the base year.

 

From the perspective of human capital, we have positioned employee engagement as one of our key management priorities, and are promoting initiatives aimed at achieving our target of a 10% improvement in employee engagement compared to the fiscal year ended July 2023 by the fiscal year ending July 2027.
